Mid-America Restaurant Specialties, Inc., “MARSI Systems”, got its start in Chicago in 1974 as Microwave Food Systems a “Specialty” distributor representing Commercial Litton ovens, Smokaroma, and introducing some advanced cook & hold technology. Microwave ovens were misunderstood and misrepresented. We found success with attention to detail and confirmed that the “best deal” on equipment in food service includes choosing the right tools for the job, having a dedicated and knowledgeable supplier and a committed, well trained staff in the kitchen focused on the ultimate customer. Value Added Services, training and follow-up is our niche.
